  Mr. Zeng Kun, born in 1928 in Foshan City, Guangdong Province and once the member of Guangdong Martial Art Association, vice director of Foshan Jingwu Club, and now the president of Foshan Taiji Quan Association, and entitled with national referee of first grade and wushu master of sixth grade, enjoys a long and rich experiences of Taiji Quan.
  Since he joined Foshan Jingwu Club in 1947, Mr. Zeng Kun apprenticed with Mr. Liu Fameng, the famous master of Eagle Claw Boxing. In 1949 he engaged to be the assistant in the club. Since 1950, he followed separately Masters Wu Gongzao, Li Peinxian, Huang Xiaoxia, Deng Jintao, etc., and became accomplished in a number of southern and northern styles of martial art, such as Eagle Claw Boxing, Taiji Quan, Six Harmonies and Eight methods, Fist of Fury and Nanquan. In 1957, he took part in Guangdong Provincial Martial Art Competition and was awarded with 3rd class. In 1958, he again took part in Guangdong Provincial Martial Art Competition and won No. One both for fist item and sword item separately. He joined, in the same year, National Martial Art Exhibition Game held in Beijing and was awarded with 3rd class. In 1959, he went to Guangdong Provincial Martial Art Competition and won No. Three. He was entitled with referee for National Martial Art Competition 1974. in the same year, he engaged to be deputy chief referee for the 4th Guangdong Provincial Sports Game. He also engaged to be chief referee or arbitrator in a series of other martial art competitions. In 1982, he was honored to join the 1st National Martial Art Work Conference. In 1984, he appeared at the National Award Presentation Ceremony for excellent Martial Art Workers and was encouraged with award. In 1986, he was awarded with “National Advanced Worker of Martial Art”. In 1994, he was chosen into “100 Outstanding Martial Art Masters in Guangdong Province”.
  Being broad minded and approachable, president Zeng Kun stresses noble martial art moral, aims to constantly promote the Chinese martial arts and national fitness activities. Master Zeng Kun has been Elected president of the sixth consecutive of Foshan Taiji Quan Association since it was founded in 1993. In 1999, he was invited by Guagnzhou Association of Fellow Townsmen to go to Paris, France to teach Taiji Quan. In 2007, he was honored as the general coach of “Guangdong Taiji Quan Club in France”. For the past 15 years, President Zeng has painstakingly trained a number of coaches with both ability and moral integrity, who have been playing an active role in the mass popularity of Taijiquan sport. Based on the spirits of both inheritance and development of traditional martial arts, president Zeng Kun has created and composed routines of martial art, such as Taiji Liangyi Sward, Taiji Single Fan, Taiji Double Hoop, Taiji Single Hoop and Simplified Liuhebafa (Six Harmonies and Eight Methods), etc, which are getting popular among the mass practitioners.
